OnFees along with NPCI, conducts workshops to educate over 10,000 students in India

Digital Financial Literacy Program is an initiative taken by OnFees in association with NPCI (National Payments Corporation of India). The idea was to educate young minds on digital payments & make India cashless. To create awareness on the benefits like seamless & secured transactions of digital platforms, OnFees has tied up with many educators to make them future ready.

 

In order to spread awareness on digital payments & with the aim to reduce corruption in the country, OnFees, the leading online payment platform successfully providing seamless digital fee payment solutions to over 50 institutions across India & NPCI came together.

NPCI & OnFees plan to run a campaign in 100 schools & colleges around India wherein they will train the students, teaching & non teaching staff on digital financial transactions, and platforms for online payments, benefits & ways to decrease cashless transactions. They aim to encourage more digital transactions amongst the students who in turn can educate the other age groups as well.

 

 

Event was held in around 50 institutes across the states of Maharashtra & Madhya Pradesh from 5th of Sept, 2018 to 19th of Sept, 2018 . The event was well appreciated by some well-known colleges in Mumbai such as Ruia, Podar, DY Patil Group of Institutes, Vidyalankar Group of Institutes, Bhavans, HR college Guru Nanak Khalsa College, SIES College, GNIMS, Sathaye College etc.  They received an overwhelming response by over 10,000 students. More than 45 sessions conducted by professional trainers, who made the sessions very interactive & interesting for the students.

Many online as well as offline campaigns were run to have maximum participation. They got great responses to their social media campaigns that were meant to encourage the students to attend the program. With special hashtags like ‘’BECASHLESS’’, the campaigns attracted the young crowd. The workshops were conducted in very unique ways considering the interests of students. The students were educated by some cheerful activities which were quiet interesting & encouraging.

 

 

On research with many college students & principals, OnFees decided to make the educational sector digitally literate. They received many testimonials & encouraging feedback from principals & managements. The DFL program created a revolutionary change in the Indian education system. They aim to bring digitization in the educational field with more such workshops in future .
